Michael Jackson, Farah Faucet, Ed MckMann and My Birth Plan

Wow, so Michael Jackson (whose name I know is spelled correctly), Farrah Faucet? (yeah, no idea how her name is spelled) and Ed MckMann? (the last name have 1 or 2 n's) are all dead. Hmmm . . . How will I ever jokingly describe my fro as Farrah Faucet hair again? (I know how to say it even though I don't necessarily know how to spell it) And Ed Mckmann, there really isn't a whole lot to say. I mean, the man was old right? BUT MICHAEL JACKSON! Holy Moly Freakin Macaroni!! There is no longer an alien inhabiting our planet? No longer a previously good looking African-American boy gone hideous nasty white skeleton woman amongst us? How is this possible? What is our world coming to? I am speechless. Awestruck. Flabbergasted.

And therefore, now I will move on . . .

On Thursday I had my 33 week OB appointment. The following is my plan of action:

July 8th - Growth Ultrasound
July 13th - OB appointment and possible stripping of membranes
July 23rd - OB appointment (if no labor) and stripping of membranes
July 30th - OB appointment (if no labor) and stripping of membranes
August 3rd - Scheduled C-section if no spontaneous labor

So, there it is all in a nutshell.

You Idiot, She Understands You

Today, has been a good day. Other than our teenage nephew spending the night, we all went out to breakfast at IHOP where as usual Buzzy was the center of attention. We've been going to the same IHOP every morning that Myturo has off since before I was even pregnant with her and so in a way she has grown up there. The waitresses and hostesses love her, know her by name, entrust us to let her play with their manager keys and even celebrated her first birthday by surprising us with balloons and gifts. She has two favorite waitresses there (Jessica and Denise) who she looks forward to seeing everytime we go. I think she must think they are some long lost Aunts who live at the restaurant she loves.
Ever since she was born, there has never been a public outting when comments about her cuteness, big brown eyes, thick brown hair, beautiful dark skin or some like comment has been made. People can't help smile when they look at her and even chronic scowlers turn their frowns upside down, even if only momentarily, at the sight of her.
So, because of all this attention she recieves I've always wondered how I was going to keep her from becoming a conceited little brat. And today one of my worst fears came true. Instead of just smiling and acting cute as someone complimented her 'cuteness' she vigorously nodded her head in agreement. When someone else asked her, aww aren't you beautiful? she did it again, nodding vigorously negating all thoughts of a coincidence in my head. I don't want her to agree with people. I want my daughter to be humble and modest. I don't want her to think her $h*t doesn't stink. I know too many kids like that these days.
So on the subject of her finally understanding the compliments that get flung her way on a regular basis, I have to say I am quite proud of her english/spanish comprehension. She understands and obeys very well (even if that does make her sound like a dog) But with comprehension comes free will and boy does my little girl have some wicked free will. I have to admit that currently I find it quite comical when I ask her to give me something or not to do something and she plops herself down on her diaper, throws her arms up in the air and down into her lap and shakes her head, all the while crying Mumum, Mumum (thats what she calls me) I am sure my amusement will soon pass. Maybe I'm still mystified by the fact she calls me Mumum. It's so stinkin' cute.
One other thing she understands alllll too well, is the word bath and shower. She doesn't say shower yet, but bath is bap and regardless of the time of day she wants her bap. Loves her bap. Gets completely out of control upset if she doesn't get her bap. LOL If I'm alone in the house and going potty she crawls into the bathroom and pulls herself on the tub and insists she gets a bap. I can only get out of it by consoling her with SBSP (spongebob square pants) or if he's not on letting her bang on my laptop. Spoiled stinker. Apparently Myturo didn't know her level of comprehension though and while he was taking care of her, randomly asked if she wanted to take a shower. Let's just say all hell broke loose. She couldn't understand why he would ask that if he wasn't planning on following through. It took quite a while to calm the poor thing down. ((sigh))
As for other fun updates on Miss Buzzy Love as I call her, her favorite cartoon is Spongebob Square Pants and requests that I sing the theme song on a regular basis by saying, Mumum Bob and proceeding to bob her head, shimmy her shoulders and sings bobobobob. LOL She also like Ruby & Max, The Backyardigans, and loves the theme songs to all the big kid shows like iCarly and Drake & Josh (or whatever that show is called) My little girl LOVES music. There are certain songs like The Motions and any song by Eros Ramazotti where she will stop whatever it is she is doing and rock out until the song is over. She also likes, Ice Ice Baby, and Push it by Salt N Peppa. I'll have to see if I can get a video of it.
Starting yesterday I have been having lots and lots and lots of braxton hicks contractions. I am hoping this is a sign that I will go into labor within the next few weeks. These BH contractions are not comfy, even bordering on painful, but they aren't regular and they aren't long enough. UGH! Tomorrow is my 33 week OB appointment and I will be discussing induction and/or C-section with my OB.
And on that note, we are going to go get sushi. MMM... Love me some sushi. I'll be back tomorrow to update on my appointment. Until then, tata!

The Toilet Paper Fairy

Just a quick note to say, I haven't forgotten my pledge to update more often but there isn't much to update with.

Except that despite all Myturo's faults and as much as I complain sometimes, I have to admit that I am grateful for one thing. Last night I had used the remainder of the toilet paper in the master bathroom. Our nephews were spending the night and I was dressed inappropriately to go get another roll. UGH! I knew I would be going to the bathroom within the next hour and several times there after but I couldn't go get another roll without our nephews seeing me pass through the living room into the pantry where we keep our stash of toilet paper. But I didn't have to worry. My personal toilet paper fairy came home only a half hour later (after I was fast asleep with Buzzy) and replaced the empty toilet paper roll. Disaster and embarrassment avoided. I must say I am very proud to have my very own toilet paper fairy.

Point Taken

Updated:

As you can see to the left, the blog button has been created, so feel free to grab it and send me a comment that you did so I can grab yours too!!

Original Post:

It was brought to my attention by one of my close friends and blog readers that in addition to all the changes I've made to my blog, I would need to change the button as well. UGH! Completely spaced on that one, but fear not. Not only will I make a new blog button soon, but the old one will still work because blogger is kind enough to redirect any traffic that goes to ontheborderx4.blogspot.com to thebuzznless.com. Nice of them huh? LOL In any case, thanks Megs for pointing that out. I'll be sure to get on it ASAP.

Revamped, Renamed, Renewed

I took the liberty to revamp (hence the new look), rename (hence the new url) and renew (hence the second post to be written two days in a row) my blog. I have surprisingly received a few e-mails asking me if I had stopped blogging completely (no, I have not) and a few others wondering if I was ill or otherwise indisposed (other than being almost 9 months pregnant, no, I'm not) So, I am going to attempt to post a few times a week to at least let me readers know I'm alive.

Now, to explain the revamp and rename. The revamp was simply because Buzzy is growing and no longer the cutesy tutesy little 10 month old that used to sit center stage at the top of my blog. Little Nameless will be joining us soon and considering my blog will include both my daughters it seemed silly to keep the layout the way it was. The rename was purely random. I liked the idea of calling my blog The Buzz (after Buzzy) but needed to include Little Nameless as well. In my family, because of how long it took for us to finally pick a name, everyone has been calling her Lessy (as in Name-less-y) Hence the name TheBuzzNLess.com was born.

So for reference sake:
You can read my blog at: www.thebuzznless.com
You can e-mail me at: sugarypunkin48@netzero.com
You can reach me on twitter at: ontheborderx4 (until I am able to change that as well, in which case it will also be thebuzznless)
& you can text me, if you so wish at: 360-356-5920 (please don't call as I leave my phone on silent and won't receive it)

On one last note, HAPPY FATHER'S DAY! May all the dad's who deserve this day enjoy it to it's fullest and all the slacker dad's realize that there are more important things in life than themselves. Most importantly their children, who without, they wouldn't be able to celebrate.

Another Redo . . . Shh . . . Quick While Buzzy's Asleep

I don't like mornings like this one, where despite the fan pointed directly on me and despite the cool breeze I can feel drafting in through my open window, despite the fact I am only wearing light cotton pajamas and have my hair tied up on top of my head and despite the fact that I only have a thin sheet covering my middle, I wake up in a sweat. I specifically don't like it when I wake up this way because my husband thought he would be 'helpful' and cover my daughter who also seems to be warmer than normal. And of course, it never fails. The minute he makes a noise or any effort to 'help', he wakes her up. This morning it was a whole hour and a half before her normal wake up time. I was a bit peeved. Then he proceeds to shower and leave me high and dry, hot sweaty, still half asleep and contracting (braxton hicks). I don't know how to tell him not to 'help' without hurting his feelings. Because God forbid I hurt his feelings. He turns into the Mexican Terror of the 21st Century.
Then as if my morning hasn't started off frustrating enough, poor Buzzy poops and it is the sticky kind of poop that adheres to her poor bottom and it takes wipe after wipe after wipe to get the mess off, leaving her poor butt raw and red and her face full of tears. Then, after all of this we are finally relaxing and Myturo comes out of the bathroom only to say, 'you're sweating? you haven't even worked yet.' Now, mind you, if I had any energy at all I would have kicked him . . . hard. But I have no energy and my mind was still on sleep so I didn't understand what he said completely. I didn't ask for clarification but my fuzzy mind was under the impression he was berating me for not going out to work. Now that I am awake, I realize he assumed that waking up early, dealing with my fussy, raw butted daughter isn't considered any kind of 'work'. Even being nearly 9 months pregnant, bursting at the seams, trying to be awake and alive night after sleepless night. Dealing with acid reflux and braxton hicks, all the while trying to be cheerful as I sing 'spongebob square pants' theme song for the zillionth time. Oh the list of complaints goes on and on and on.
On a lighter more happy note, I attempted to post Buzzy's one year professional photographs the other day, but had no time to size them and therefore they looked huge and misplaced on my blog. Today I have a bit of time and am taking a small break from my BIP to update officially, although my daughter is currently whining incessantly at my feet (because SOMEONE woke her up early) and even though I cannot promise that this will be happening on a regular basis. I also have some birthday photos to post. I don't know how many I will, and I definitely won't be able to post them all, but I will attempt to get some good ones up.
As far as anything else to actually write about before the onslaught of photos, I am 33 weeks 4 days eh, 32 weeks 5 days (apparently I have serious preggo brain as I had to think about this hours later and come to edit, lol) today. I think Little Nameless' head is in my pelvis now because the pain when walking has become excruciating. She is estimated to weigh approximately 5lbs already (yep, she'll be a big girl like her sister) I have my next OB appointment on the 25th, my next ultrasound on July 10th and hopefully soon thereafter she will be here! A Mama can pray right?? OK, and that is all I have for now.
On with the photos!
(Just FYI - it has taken me more than an hour to size these silly photos)
