COFFEE NOODLES & A WEIGH IN

I lost 2lbs this week. I should be excited. I'm that much closer to being under 300 which I haven't been under since my first pregnancy almost 2.5 years ago and I've now lost 20 solid pounds . . . but I'm not excited. Just feeling low today.

Gonna go wallow in some sugarless gum. Bleck!

  1. i'll be excited for you! CONGRATS on 2lbs. just because you didn't hit a "big" number this week doesn't mean you won't next week! don't give up! keep on truckin' it!

  2. You will be excited when you hit 299! Go for it, walk briskly another hour a day, you can take it off your tv time, you'll get to 289 in no time! You can do it, I know you can.

  5. 20 pounds is great! And remember that if you lose too fast...you are not just losing fat..you are also losing muscle. (That first week was likely fat + water...not muscle...so no worries abotu that!) Give your body a chance to make sure it is fat going bye-bye...not muscle. I read somewhere that your body can only release 2% of your current body weight per week in fat. For you, that is 3 pounds a week or so. That would be 12 pounds a month which would be excellent....truly! So.....be happy with your excellent progress and know that change that will stick takes time and patience. I am in my 11th month right now.
