FOODAGE

This is what I'm faced with these days.


Thankfully the cookies, chocolate swirled peanutbutter fudge, and other misc treats were eaten quickly.

I have no interest in the hot cocoa mix although it's presentations is really cute!


Unfortunately each time something disappears new horrific things replace it!

This is the candy corner. It's evil and I stay as far away as humanly possible at all times!


No matter what I do crap seeps into our fridge, freezer & pantry.






Thank god I'm well stocked on box meals (a few leftover crappy ones and several new healthier ones) plus mucha fruta y vegetables.





Oh and a gallon almost gone today. Oh yeah!



Banana mas peanut butter for snack. Mmm mmm mmm!

  1. How is the bagged Lean Cuisines? I have never tried them. Is the sodium lower than the boxed stuff?

  2. Okay, so when you say a gallon, are you drinking a gallon of pure water? That looks like tea. (Same question I asked last week....)

    I'm not calling you out. I'm just trying to help with the headaches you say your doctor blamed on too much water. If youre drinking gallons of tea or crystal lite or anything but pure water, you're getting either caffeine or aspartame.

    My doctor told me, water is the boat your fat floats out on. Not CL, not tea or coffee. Just pure water.

  3. Kimberly, the bagged lean cuisines (steamers) are awesome IMO. They have a little higher sodium. Like 570 instead of 450. But they taste awesome, are super low in cals and keep me full for a while.

    Carolyn, Ty for the info. The gallon is indeed one pack of crystal light mixed with a gallon of water. So that means the tea is diluted by 50% water. I have been drinking only the gallon plus water and diet here and there and have had no headaches since I called the doc. This is my way of keeping the fluids going in. Plain water literally triggers my gag reflex after so much. I'm sure I could train myself to deal with that but at this stage (while I'm successfully losing and sans headaches) I don't see a reason to. Thank you again though for the info and of course I'll keep it in mind.

  9. I drink way too many Crystal lights, 4 a day!!! I add 2 to every liter and I drink 2-3 liters every day. Oh well pick your poison, mine these days is artificial sweetner

  11. I think you're doing great considering what you're surrounded by! It's easy to turn junk down now, but I would have really struggled and maybe even lost the battle just a few months ago! I wish your family would all commit to eating healthier with you.. No one, obese or thin, needs that amount of junk. So glad you're strong enough to avoid it!

  12. I think you are doing great, Kristen! Avoid those nasty little treats(I know, it's easier said than done!) and stick to the healthier snacks. I love looking at your sections in the freezer/fridge, they remind me of mine and I only have me and my kids. Good luck to you! Keep up the great work :)
