In 2002, the year I graduated high school and at 17 years old, I weighed between 203 (my lowest fully grown weight) and 230lbs.
In 2003 I started working at McDonalds and subsequently went into management where I ate a minimum of 2 meals (using that word loosely) a day. From 2003-2004 while I worked there, I gained 50lbs.
*McDonalds can do that for you too!
Between 2004-2006 I fluctuated from 280-290 eventually topping out at 300 and then after living in Mexico for 6 months, dropping back down to 265.
I got married in 2006. (One of THEE most naive and ignorant decisions of my life)
I stayed at a solid 280lbs until I got pregnant in the summer of 2007. I gained 30lbs (because I thought I had an excuse to eat) and then in August I lost my baby.
One month after losing my baby I became pregnant again (and found out on my 23rd birthday) The day of my daughters birth, pre-cesarean, I weighed 372lbs of pure misery.
From there, I easily dropped back down to 320 and at 4 months postpartum found out I was pregnant yet again. The day of my second daughter's birth I weighed 365lbs, pre-cesarean. That was August of 2009.
December of 2009 I wasn't sure how much I weighed but I decided I had had enough and would start a healthy living/eating journey on January 1st, 2010.
I started at 325lbs and dropped to 274 in 20 weeks.
From there I fiddle farted around. Being the double edged sword of assailant and victim, I drowned my emotions with food and proceeded to lose nothing more by January 2011. In fact, on January 1, 2011, of those 55lbs lost I had regained 10 and weighed in at 284.6.
I then proceeded to finalize my divorce. All goals, motivation and plans vanished in lieu of the idea that my marriage was actually over. I regained what I lost, plus some with only minor efforts to reverse the damage throughout the next 2 years.
In August 2013 I joined Weight Watchers with my mom. I started around 336 and was able to lose 25lbs through the next 2 months. In October 2013 I allowed myself to be derailed once again when our family took a week long trip to Disneyland.
After that I sky rocketed to nearly 350lbs.
I am now jumping back into this. THIS being Weight Watchers. I need to get this weight off. I am 29 years old but sometimes I feel as though I live in a 62 year old body.
So for ME and for my beautiful daughters, I pray ... GOD HELP ME.
